I absolutely love Chinese BBQ pork: So I'm taking a stab at making some of this today. I bought the seasoning packet rather than make the marinade from scratch, but from what I can tell it's just Sugar, Soy Sauce, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Chinese 5-Spice and Red Food Coloring. However I didn't know the exact amounts of each to make it from scratch. The country style pork ribs have been marinating in it overnight. If I could only learn how to make that bright yellow fried rice at Chinese takeouts I'd be set! Anyone ever tried making this before?
