A good facial cleanser for acne prone skin seems to be a hard thing to find. I have tried all sorts of acne cleaners like Noxema and Clearasil, but nothing seems to do more than dry out my skin. I have read articles and seen recipes for Diy cleansers and was wondering if any of you have tried them or currently use them. Do these DIY cleaners work? Are they messy? I'm branching out and trying something new for this stubborn acne!
I had acne, and I tried so many products - commercial or home-made. Honestly, acne is hormonal and cannot be simply removed by DIY cleansers. So, the best way to keep it at bay is to consult a dermatologist. You might need to intake something to combat it. Right now, I do not have breakouts anymore. I am taking BCP for it and using kojic acid soap.
Thank you for your input! I was hoping that my acne would subside as I aged but it seems to be the same. Where do you find kojic acid soap? I would like to look into it. Thank you
