Hello people of Internet! Can I get some advice on portable speakers? I'm about to buy a new car, and since I'd rather get a nice deal on mechanics, electrics, and interiors, I'm prepared to buy a car with no radio. Even if I end up buying a proper radio for my car, there's nothing wrong with having a plan B. My questions are: - Should I look for Bluetooth powered, AA battery powered, or rechargeable battery powered? - What should I look for when it comes to decent volume, and audio quality? Nothing is Bluetooth "powered" because it's not a battery technology. It's a protocol for communication between two devices that enable audio playback or microphone capabilities. You can't go wrong with a quality Bluetooth speaker or two mounted in the vehicle, though that's going to cost just as much as a basic audio system. They run on lithium rechargeable batteries more often than not.
