    Birchbox

I just came across the review of an online store

It offers subscriptions for men and women [the pricing is based on sex (cheaper for women)]. After subscribing they deliver monthly samples of a number of products [they sell] which you can then buy if you like them.

Take look and let us all know what you think.

I searched for the price..$10 monthly for women and $20 a month for men...guess it depends if it's worth the monthly fee to get samples.

I have two friends that have recommended I believe, this exact website to me. They love it. Here's my issue: I'd never be able to use the products fast enough and I'd just get annoyed at having so much crap pile up in my bathroom.

I tend to be very snobby about my beauty products, first of all. I refuse to buy drug store shampoo and conditioner, and I refuse to buy cheap make up. And once I find a product I love, I also tend to stick with it for a really long time. I'm kind like an old woman in that way.

So I'd never do something like this.

Now, if I had a household of girls at some point, this might be a great and cheap way to get Christmas and birthday presents all year.

But again, I just can't imagine how much of it would sit in a closet or drawer and essentially go unused.

I think this site is pointless why pay a monthly fee for samples? When you can get free samples lol. I wouldn't pay for samples than to buy the products.

To be honest I have tried this program for a few months and it really isn't worth it if you look at it as a whole. They give very small samples and most of the time its samples that you can get for free in stores such as sephora, etc.
I would pass up on this deal unless you really have a soft spot for samples.

The only samples that I've ever paid for would be 'Clinic' products back when I was in indo. Other than that ,when it comes to make up and hair products, I can be pretty picky. I break out easily and can't really try different stuffs here and there. I went through a lot of different blush on before I settled for one that I really liked. I stick with Revlon for eye liner and Oil of Olay when it comes to moisturizer .Even for lipstick,It's hard to find color that I am satisfied with although I've been using Revlon for a while as well. Face powder is the only one that I am not very picky and would experiment. I'd buy Cover Girl mascara which I'd hardly use .

I am a member of a subscription service for kid's clothing. It's nice to just get a box of stuff every month, much like Christmas all year. I do think these subscription services can be fun and useful, but I don't know if I would pay for free samples. It's a good idea, but why pay for something you can easily get for free?

I would not pay a monthly fee for sample sizes. There are many websites that offer free samples all the time. You usually have to go to each company's site and simply sign up for a free sample. A lot of companies have free giveaways on their Facebook pages. First, you have to like the page and then you can sign up for giveaways or free samples. Why would the men's fee be more? Women are usually the primary shoppers and target audience for companies. That seems very odd to me.
