That was long ago in 2009 when I was new to PayPal and did not know much about PayPal's way of working. However being alert helps in matters like these and when I saw "Dear Member" in place of my name it confirmed my doubt. I used the specific support but they did not answer to my query.
Well such things will never stop since there will always be people that fall for this scam, i hope everyone pays great attention to be safe.
I think some of the scam emails these days are also sending mails on how the money is being sent or generated through cryptocurrency. And that you can see that about the gmail also filtering such emails. And now they are now found in the spam folder. You can see that some of such emails can be good enough in many ways. I guess we just have to think about how that works for many of us. A bit different way to handle is to set the private inbox keys.
