That's sucks but I never had any of these issues I have gotten a lot of stuff from amazon and never had a problem any time I order something it gets to my home on the day of or earlier of the date they give me and it's always in good condition I think it's more of the seller than amazon
Jeez, I'm sorry you lost so much time and money on Amazon, and they did nothing to help the situation. I don't buy on Amazon regularly, but the times I have bought off of there it was a satisfactory experience. The way that Amazon ignores their buyers is worrying though, it makes me reconsider going back there, even though I don't go on there that often because of the prices.
Out of all the stores that I shop at online, Amazon is the top store. I buy everything from diapers to soap. I have made really big purchases like a baby crib. It came shipped to me on time and I was very impress. I can also rely on a lot of feedback from real people before I make a big purchase that I might regret.
I would not let Amazon or the Seller off the hook that easy! The Seller should have tracking for the parcel; only they can pursue that with the post office. If the Post Office can't show where it was delivered, the Seller can file a claim for the item being lost (or you can, with the tracking numbers). I have bought from Amazon many times, and yes, I check the Seller ratings... the only time I had a problem with not receiving an item, I contacted Amazon and was promptly shipped another one, which did arrive. Don't forget to check with your credit card company - many credit cards offer buyer protection either by disputing the charge or by offering buyer protection/replacement.
That is bad. But most of the time, they always take the side of the buyer. I think your case is very rare and you need to follow up the customer service real hard. I never heard of these lost packages especially when dealing with a Multi billion dollar companies like Amazon.
Amazon can be a little sketchy sometimes. Most of the time when I buy something, my purchase goes through and I get my item shipped to me in 3-4 days. Other time I will buy an item, only to never receive it and not get my money back! You have to be careful how you shop on Amazon, never forget to read the reviews first. Most of the time, if the seller is legitimate, you should get your item intact and on time.
I read the reviews too but even good sellers with a good rep and much positive feedback are shady. They make their positive feedback by selling one particular type of item. When they expand their store, that's sometimes when you can become a victim of being taken in. Because their new items are faulty or broken. Most businesses usually fail when they try to expand without a plan or working products. If you are an auto body shop that tries to expand into fixing trucks and cars, unless you have people good at fixing trucks, it'll fall apart quick.
Actually, quite the opposite here. I've ordered from amazon countless times and only once have I even had an issue receiving items to begin with- it was around Christmas time and I suspect it was just lost in the mail to begin with, but they offered to either ship me a new product on free one day shipping, or to refund my money. I opted for the new item because I had really wanted that for a family member and hadn't found it anywhere else, and I received it with no further problem the next day. The customer service was very good and prompt.
Was the item from Amazon or from another seller on Amazon? I only buy things that ship from Amazon so I can take advantage of the free shipping with orders over $25. I've never had a problem with damaged or non-delivery. It is something that can happen, though.
Sorry to hear about your experience. I've been a satisfied Amazon customer for years. I've never experienced any of the shipping or customer service issues that you've described. My only advice is to read seller ratings just like you would on eBay. The marketplace may offer cheaper prices but the seller is not Amazon, so you should be careful.
I'm sorry to hear that. Whenever I had an issue with Amazon they generally resolve issues for me . I have even receive items for free after my orders were not bundle together after receiving only one shipment.
I've always had brilliant experiences with Amazon UK. Everything I've ordered has been on time. There haven't been any differences from product descriptions. I've had no problems whatsoever. In the case of Amazon US, they've been good to me too. They've even retroactively given me giftcard credit if I've bought something and it went on discount soon after. Most companies would just say bad luck.
Wow! I've never had a problem with amazon.com ever. I've always gotten what I order and gotten it in the delivery-frame they suggest. It's always been in great shape. Have you been ordering from amazon.com or from one of their sellers? This might make a difference, but shouldn't. I can't believe you've had such bad luck. I live in the middle of nowhere and practically live off of amazon.com
Amazon sellers seem to be better than Ebay sellers. Except Amazon sellers have a habit sometimes of not sticking their labels onto items properly. They sometimes come off in transit, item gets lost in the system, disaster.
I have never had any bad experiences with Amazon. By my experiences, they are a great site with great customer service. All items purchased ship quickly and in the described condition. They are always very helpful when I have buying troubles or questions. I prefer them over eBay.
Amazon can't really control a seller. They simply act as a middle man for a transaction. I have had issues with a seller. I left a review stating that I didn't receive my items. The seller promptly stopped ignoring my messages and offered me a refund. I think that after so many negative reviews, the seller will be unable to sell on Amazon. You can also file a claim and Amazon usually reimburses the buyer. Amazon can't really control a seller. They simply act as a middle man for a transaction.
I have definitely not had the same issues with Amazon. Whenever there has been a problem for me and I had to contact customer service, whether it be regarding an Amazon fulfilled item, an item from a 3rd party seller, or a Kindle related issue, they have been ridiculously helpful and have gone above and beyond to help. I agree with some of what others have said - if it IS from a 3rd party seller, there isn't a whole lot AMAZON can do. Stinks, I know. But overall I think they have pretty good customer service!
I have heard about this happening to a couple of other people. It seems the problem comes when you buy from a seller, and not directly from Amazon. Unlike ebay, which tries to keep people on the straight and narrow with their rater service, Amazon doesn't do that, and that is where problems happen.
I have never had any problems with Amazon myself. They have great deals, and they have fast service to match. I think overall Amazon is one of the best distributors on the net. I absolutely love using them.
I have also never had a bad experience with Amazon as a company, though I do think the original Kindle Fire builds were super janky. Both mine and my moms power jacks came loose within the first few months of having them, which was a shame because I loved the device itself. But as far as shipping, customer service, etc, I have never had any issues with them. I've even had them compensate when things went wrong. I had ordered something from them and they gave me the wrong item, and after emailing them, they sent me the correct item and let me keep the wrong one, free of charge. I've also had them double in-game micro transactions that never showed up in my game after I complained about it. Keep in mind that not all of the merchandise on Amazon come from the company themselves, but rather smaller companies that sell through them (kind of like ebay, except more companies, less private individuals) so the issues you could have had were the fault of the company the item was coming from, rather than Amazon. I would have pushed harder for your items and went straight to the seller rather than Amazon, pestered them into at least giving you a refund, because that is unacceptable.
