My husband and I have never shopped there but we do have one in our town and we were just talking about this the other night because we have heard a number of good things from others in our town about how good things are there, and obviously, how great the prices are. Thank you for posting this. I definitley think that our next shopping trip is going to be there just to check it all out. We recently not only went down to one income in our family, but my husband also took a huge pay cut, so we are looking for any ways possible to cut back on expenses in our household. Great information! Thanks again.

Yes, they do pay a lot more. I almost applied for a job there b/c they were hiring and I was shocked at their starting rate!

I shop there occasionally, and the prices are good.

I love to shop at Aldi's! I love that the prices are so cheap, they have good quality food, and my son loves that you need a quarter to get the buggy. haha. I do however hate that a lot of their foods have a peanut allergy warning on them. My son is allergic to peanuts so it can be irritating when all of their snacks have the warning on them. I am able to find some that are ok for him to have but the majority of them are not. I also hate that they are so busy. I have a hard time walking through the aisles when they are so busy and it seems that I never go there when it is slow. No matter what time I go! lol

I love Aldi and shop there at least once a month. I mainly load up on snacks since their much cheaper there and frozen foods. i don't really get their produce since it doesn't always look to good so i shop at Hy-vee usually for produce and meat sales. i do like at Aldi to be able to buy true German foods like true German Brats. They have these double pack cheesecakes that are totally fabulous. I tend to go overboard at Aldi but it fills my freezers and cupboards up.

I have not shopped there in years. I remember going there as a little girl with my mother because the prices were so cheap. I may start up going there again. Money is getting very tight!

Yes, we are talking about Aldi where you have to buy your own bags and pay a quarter for a shopping cart. These minor things help keep prices low.

I am with you there! I love the selection, the staff are friendly in pretty much every one I have been in and the prices are great! I think they have far outdone the "big 3" and there is a reason they win supermarket of the year all the time now! The stores are clean too which is a massive plus!
