What are your experiences with Albertsons? In my area this store is pathetically expensive for the low quality food they sell and the staff are very unprofessional. I am almost surprised this store is still up and running. Not only that, but after charging an arm and a leg for their items, they also make an effort to save money on bags. I have even had a store associate ask if I want my items bagged at all.
I am surprised. Our local Albertson's are not anything like that but they have gone a bit downhill in the last few years. I usually only go and get some items that are on sale now because I do save more doing the bulk of my shopping at a different store. The one thing that I have noticed is a really odd smell coming from the meat department. Albertson's is the only store that has this odd smell. It is so bad that it makes me feel ill and it just keeps getting worse. I tend to avoid going there mostly just because of the smell.
