I just bought a ticket from Singapore to Penang, Malaysia for AirAsia, a popular low-cost airline based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ticket was very cheap, about 30 USD for a 1-hour flight.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried it? It's going to be my first visit to Malaysia.

Thanks for sharing this. I am just wondering if the airline fare you purchased was in promo offer or in regular price? $30 is really very affordable if that is on a regular price. If it is, then how much lower if they are in promo offer? If that is the case, there is no reason anymore to have excuses in travelling to some parts of Asia. Travelers must take advantage of these kinds of airlines.

That's very cheap indeed! Thanks for sharing this. Now I know what airline to use if I'll ever travel that way.
