Do you have any gift ideas to share for Father's Day? Do you shop for gifts or do you do something else?

My father is gone, but I still like to honor my husband on this special day. I just didn't really plan ahead very well this year, so I'd love to hear your ideas or plans.

I will make him something good to eat, but I'd like to give him at least a small gift. I'm just all out of ideas right now, so I will gladly steal some of yours, ha ha. :p

Well Father's Day isn't really a big deal in our house, but sometimes my brother treats my dad by giving him gifts on that day. If you're looking for deals then I'm sure you can find a lot of them online, starting with Amazon and Ebay.

I bought a shirt for my father and made a greeting card for him. He really loved the shirt more than my greeting card. :p Anyways I am glad that he liked it. I wished him with a big hug and prayed for good health to him. :)

For fathers day we usually go out to eat at a buffet. It's kind of a tradicion now but this year my dad is going to work so we celebrated it early. For my husband we are just going to buy his favorite foods and eat them at home and later have a movie night. That is what they enjoy as long as they are with their kids.

Customized mugs are great especially if your father/husband loves to drink coffee :) Customized key chain or gadget accessories would be nice as well. You may also buy him a new robe or sweater if it's cold in your place :)

I had an Amazon gift card so I took the opportunity to buy a laptop that my father had asked me for a long time. I used the gift card to complete a part of the payment.

It was a very nice gift for him. :)

This has always been one of the more difficult shopping days for me, and I am not sure what it is but fathers are just hard to shop for, at least mine is. It has gotten to the point where food is usually the safest bet.

My father happens to be the strong silent type, so events like Father's day and and his birthday don't really excite him too much.In fact,he doesn't really seem to care much for them. However when these special days in his life finally arrive,my mom calls us,(their children) back to the house to share in their joy.She normally prepares a nice meal for all of us and we enjoy each others company.I find it funny the way she tells us to leave all of our hassles in life at the door and collect them when we leave. No one is allowed to grouch, even my dad.I think the best gift any of us have ever given my dad is just being together and happy. He seems really excited and contented when we visit.

Celebrating father's day finds me off guard because I'm not normally aware of the day. I don't plan on what to buy my dad during this day, but I do buy presents such as cards, shirts, cake, shoes and even recently I bought him a nice watch.Sometimes we spend the day out as a family if my mum wishes so.

This is something really amazing way to make your parents happy. I am so glad to have such a good time as it.

I would love to plan a vacation for him on this special day.
